  • The facility fee provides exclusivity to client for up to 12 consecutive hours on event day, including set up and tear down. Any additional time spent in the venue will result in a $250.00 hourly charge. Set up and tear down must take place on the rental date only.

  • A signed contract and $2,000 deposit is required to secure your date. However, a signed contract and deposit does not necessarily guarantee a secured date if there are prior holds on the date to be challenged.

  • To ensure the client’s event is executed properly and professionally, we require a professional Event Planner for corporate functions, wedding ceremonies, receptions, etc. If a client is in need of a planner, please reach out events@thehawthornstl.com so we can provide assistance.

  • Absolutely! The Hawthorn has an open vendor policy and a list of vendors we work with often should a client need help selecting some of STL’s finest vendors! Bar services and Production Packages are provided in-house.

  • The client will be held liable for any physical damages, legal actions, and/or loss of reputation or business opportunities that The Hawthorn may incur because of the actions of Client or any of Client’s guests while Client is in control of the venue.

    The client shall indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any and all legal actions which may arise from Client’s venue use. The venue and vendor insurance liability does not include the client as an “insured party.”

    Each client shall carry general public liability insurance, and to indemnify The Hawthorn which shall be named as an additional insured for the duration of this contract, which is available from the client’s local insurance agent. All clients and non-exclusive vendors must provide a limited liability insurance certificate naming STL Events Group, LLC. as additionally insured for a policy no less than $1,000,000.00, due (14) days prior to event.

  • The Hawthorn does have certain decor limitations. Vendor lists, vendor insurance, event insurance, and all set up information must be provided to our Events Team. We require the following details (14) days prior to event date: all set up and break down, event layout, deliveries, requests, audio visual and electrical needs, and production. We do not allow fireworks, glow sticks, glitter, open flames, or birdseed. We do not allow “rave” events. Please inquire to discuss further!

  • You may place a non-binding ‘hold’ on an unsecured date with our Event Sales Manager. As other inquiries are made, they will notify you.
